Family Professional and Child Specialist
Dr. Erica Ellis is a licensed psychologist who has been treating children, adults, and families in her clinical practice for over twenty years. She has seen the significant emotional damage that divorce can have on both the adults and children in a divorcing family and became involved with the Collaborative Divorce Process as a means of helping to prevent this from continuing to happen.
Dr. Ellis feels strongly that the collaborative process offers the divorcing couple the best chance of maintaining the ability to co-parent post divorce, the opportunity to protect their children from destructive parental hostility, and the support to resolve financial matters amicably and fairly.
Dr. Ellis has served as the Family Professional on many cases that have resolved successfully. She has also served on the Board of CDACD, is an active member of Collaborative North, and is frequently sought after and quoted by the media as an expert on the topic of children of divorce.
